Tron Emptage, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives
Tron Emptage has brought to Progressive Medical over 16 years of pharmaceutical experience.
Mr. Emptage's extensive professional experience is comprised of the many aspects of the delivery of pharmaceutical care; ranging from retail to home delivery, management to product development, to home infusion. This vast experience has made him an integral part of the Progressive Medical team; moving the company forward in the national pharmaceutical managed care arena.
Mr. Emptage is the visionary of Progressive Medical's Pharmacy Department. He has spearheaded new pharmacy management programs that have resulted in adding several new customers to our already extensive list. He has worked closely with customers to develop software and web application programs that bridge the gap from need to solution. Bringing sense to pharmaceutical data has assisted Mr. Emptage in leading his team to the creation of sensible reporting. In the past year, Mr. Emptage has been instrumental in pulling together all of Progressive Medical's departments to show value in utilization management across all services an injured party is utilizing.
Mr. Emptage's pharmaceutical experience, revolutionary programs, state-of-the-art reporting and customer advocacy enabled him to develop programs that transformed our Pharmacy Department into a multi-million dollar department, yielding over 71% of the company's sales. He has essentially transformed standard pharmacy offerings into an entire clinical program that offers manageable cost containment solutions for the managed care environment.
Mr. Emptage works diligently to educate internal staff and current customers. He also speaks to local, regional and national audiences at conferences and seminars as well as several Colleges of Pharmacy within the State of Ohio. He lectures on clinical and industry specific topics.
