Physical Medicine Program

In 2007, $26.2 billion was paid to providers of medical care for payments resulting from workers' compensation claims.  Of that amount, 10% of those dollars were comprised of Pharmacy costs and Physical Medicine represented 20 - 22% of the total.  Physical Medicine is the largest portion of costs in workers' compensation claims.

Progressive Medical has developed a program designed to decrease the number of visits and overall costs through state-of-the art benchmarking protocols.  This program helps control costs for outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and chiropractic services.

Benefits of the Physical Medicine Program
