Andrew Lewis, Vice President of Human Development
Andrew Lewis is responsible for directing all Human Development functions including the development of core strategic initiatives for Training and Development, Human Resources, Quality Assurance and Facilities Management. Mr. Lewis joined Progressive Medical in February 2003 as the Director of Human Development. Lewis has lead many initiatives in Human Development in key areas including employee training, leadership development and employee retention. He managed a team that created "U", a training program focused on leadership development through experiential and classroom offerings. Additionally, Mr. Lewis created an employee development program in partnership with Columbus State Community College and created a formal training and development program for Progressive Medical management.
Several initiatives created by Mr. Lewis including Mentor and Subject Matter Expert programs, and specific programs and practices to address employee satisfaction, resulted in higher employee retention rates. In 2005, he managed the implementation of a self insured health plan that not only achieved savings for Progressive Medical, but also allowed the employee a wider range of choices for health care benefits.
